BEING A BIKER IN SOUTH DAKOTA

Posted by Buck Lovell on Sunday, 27 November 2011 in BIKER TALES 0 Comments

THE STUFF ON THE ROAD

Living in the South Dakota, Wyoming area where cattle ranching is the predominate industry means folks must contend with things that most city bikers do not. That’s a given. We enjoy this life and all it has to offer, well mostly all. If you’re riding a freshly washed motorcycle near Beulah Wyoming and you encounter a moving road block on the frontage road as seen here I would advise you turn around and go back the way you came. I did not.  I wanted to snap a couple of photos. I waited on the side of the road until the herd had passed.  I ended up on the West side of the East bound doggies who had left a trail of…well…..cow flops. My ride continued West but I was traveling very slow to allow me to dodge the many slick cow droppings left on the road.
