A HARLEY-DAVIDSON SPORTSTER WITH A TWIST

By Buck Lovell                       photos by Lovell Photography

You like your Harley-Davidson Sportster because it is nimble, low to the ground, and easy to handle. You simply do not want a big heavy motorcycle, or you just are not big enough to be comfortable on a 700-pound touring machine. Brian Malo feels the same. Brian’s Little Green Baggster is just what the doctor ordered for this dyed in the wool Sportster fan. He still has his light, nimble, easy to ride motorcycle, but it looks every bit like a Big Bagger, but doesn't have the mass. Brian’s Baggster motor displaces 74 cubic inches (1200cc), and can keep up with virtually any Big Twin motorcycle on the highway. It can also burn through canyon curves like a two-wheeled athlete. Look for the complete story about this hybrid American motorcycle in an upcoming issue of American Iron Magazine.
