Q: How much does it cost to post an ad?

A: $25.00 to post ads, if you would like it featured that is an extra $10.00

Q: When do the Ads expire?

A: All ads will expire the first day of the current upcoming rally. For 2010 Rally, it will be August 9th 2010. All featured ads are good for 30 days

Q: When will my ad be approved?

A: We approve all ads right away, but can take longer if not during office hours.

A: We want the lodging message board free from commercial ads.

Q: How many pictures can we post to our ad?

Q: Why won't my pictures download into my ad?

A: Perhaps the file is set too large, you will need to resize them, if you have problems still, please e-mail them to us, and we can resize and post them for you. We can also come and take pictures for a fee if you have none available.

Q: Security Settings set to high?

A: Here's 2 possible fixes.
Simple fix
(will have to do it each time)
Right Click the Little Popup Line (top or bottom of browser) that says the site is trying to run an active x script and allow it. (it will double check with another popup window)

Permanent fix
1 Open the Tools pulldown menu on Internet Explorer.
2 Open Internet Options in the pulldown
3 Click the Security Tab at the top of the Internet Options window.
4 Click on the Trusted Sites icon.
5 Click the Sites button below icons.
6 Un-check mark "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone"
7 Type in http://www.sturgis.com in the "Add this website to the zone:" and press the Add button
8 Press the Close button on the Trusted Sites window and then the OK button on the Internet Options window.

NOTE: If you are truly worried about your computers security, we recommend that you get FireFox (http://www.firefox.com) This does not make you invulnerable but it does reduce your risks greatly. Use of a proper firewall, antivirus & spy/ad ware programs are Highly recommended regardless what browser you use.
