I'm looking at the SD construction map (
http://www.safetravelusa.com/sd/) and it looks like they are seal coating Hwy 212 from Junction to Gettysburg SD. WTF? This is one of the best routes west and they're laying down oil?
Anyone know anything about this project? Almost done? oil and top coat down for a week or more?
I may be taking Hwy 34 if I can't cross the river at Gettysburg.

Take Hwy 14 instead then... Unless you want a coating of black tarry oil on the bottom side of your bike (to keep it from rusting?

)

Yea, 14 is my backup plan. I really like taking the 212 route. Much more remote. I love the wide open prairies.
