Morning peeps! Got my new front tire via UPS yesterday, now if those rim protectors would get here I could change the darn thing! It's the last bit of maintainance I need to do to have the bike ready for the Sturgis trip.

Before you change it. Get some DYNOBEADS in to put inside the tire. I run them on all my bikes! Makes for a MUCH smoother ride

I'm gonna try counteract beads this time around, once they balance the tire out they're supposed to stay in place so the tire doesn't have to be rebalanced every time ya stop, and they're not supposed to break down into dust like some of the older beads did. We'll see how well they work, I'll post and let ya know. The beads are much easier than balancing weights, and ya don't have to worry about them slinging off the rim either

G'morning all! Hopefully it's gonna be a great day today, I might have found a buyer for my sailboat, which means the Sturgis budget will get much bigger Wish me luck!

G'mornin'! Looks to be a nice weekend but we won't be riding since we have plans out of town that require taking the pickup. Only a little over two weeks and we leave on our trip to Branson on the Harley! We have never ridden this far before but are taking 3 days to get there which means only about 350 miles a day. Should be very doable and we are really looking forward to going.
